Learning Disability Liaison Nurse

The Learning Disability Liaison Nurse’s job is to improve the Hospital Trust’s care for patients with learning disabilities and their families

Her job is also to make it easier for patients with learning disabilities to access hospital services

She is there to give patients with learning disabilities advice and guidance about being in hospital

She also gives advice and guidance to the patients staff involved in providing their care

This will create good health outcomes for people with learning disabilities when they access acute services
